ARTICLE GUIDE
ARTICLE CATEGORIES (more may be added in the future!)
1. [Reviews]. Just a good ol' fashioned review (you have freedom for your own style of review if you so wish!) of something you have completed from your backlog. Can be about a game, anime, book etc.
2. [Some Day] Here you can talk about games, book, hardware, merchandise you want or plan to get, or play in the future etc etc.
3. [Retrospectives] Here you can talk/summarize the games, anime, books etc you have played/watched in the past. Here's a good example of what I mean.
4. [Hardware reviews.] You can review controllers, monitors, keyboards, mice, etc. Any tools you use to help consume the media. (I guess you could even review a book lamp, just whatever hardware too!)
5. [RR] Here's a fun one, but you have to be dedicated! . RR is short for Random Reviews, you request for it, and I give you a game (probably only games) for free and you play and review it! Even if you drop it, you still have to review it. Depending on the game I may want you to be able to finish/play it and review it in a certain amount of time.
6. [Q&A] I will ask a general question related to something to the general topics of this website, and you all can give me a well thought out paragraph for it, or however much you want to go into detail. (ex. What's your favorite video game?)
7. [Lists] You know what these are, they take quite a bit of research usually, so if you can do it, power to you (and money ;)
8. [Reactions] We are not going to write articles on gaming news but if there was an announcement that truly caught your eye and tongue, feel free to post about it and make a discussion.
9. [Video] If any of you are more experienced in visual demonstration, you are also free to promote your channels and post high quality vids, relating to backlogs or any of the above categories, here too.
10. [Advice/Help] Any tips and tricks related to the mediums we are conquering or of the backlog.
11. [Discussion] An interesting backlog- related knowledge pool of conversing
12. [Other] If something you write somehow is related to this website, but none of the above categories, it will be listed as "Other"
Extra clarifications-
Submit every article you write to me via Google Docs, tell me what category it falls in the above list. You can just send a "View" link. In Google docs, you can italic, bold, words, you can add pictures. Be creative!
Also in reviews, please rate the product on a 10-scale. I want some consistency.
Finally, yes, you will be getting paid per article! I'm not sure how much per yet, as I do not know how frequent articles will come in. However, as I pay for each article, I pay more for the quality of the article!
You will receive the earnings via an online currency of your choosing, whenever you have an applicable amount available, you can choose to redeem it at any time. (For an amount that is equal to your earnings)
