It's time for me to say a little something that has to do with one of, but not as good of a show, Kamen Rider. The Heisei era has lasted a long time but it seems like it will come to an end. A Japanese superhero show may seem like different at first, but it can be more interesting depending on which season you're watching. I will be looking at my first season, Kamen Rider Fourze. I could be talking about more popular seasons like Kamen Rider W or Kamen Rider Gaim, but this season is special to me so I'll stick with this.

Story
"Space, the limitless bounds of cosmic energy, and it's a wonderful world. This youth uses the Astroswitch to open the gates to the future. Space on your hands! Seize the youth and open your hands to grab the space!"
NARRATOR
Amanogawa High School has become the center of strange happenings, and things only get stranger when the bad boy styled transfer student Gentaro Kisaragi attempts to make friends in his own unique way, reuniting with childhood friend and self-professed space travel otaku Yuki Jojima, all while gaining the friendship of loner Kengo Utahoshi. When the campus becomes overrun with monsters called Zodiarts, Kengo and Yuki attempt to use the strange devices they have found in the Rabbit Hatch lunar base that they access through a locker on an off-limits part of campus to fight them. However, Gentaro interferes in their plans, and uses the devices to transform into Fourze. Upon learning about Kamen Riders, Gentaro creates the Kamen Rider Club whose members include Yuki, Kengo, the school's queen bee Miu Kazashiro, Miu's jock ex-boyfriend Shun Daimonji, garishly styled social butterfly JK and goth girl Tomoko Nozama. Later joined by Ryusei Sakuta, a transfer student who transforms into Kamen Rider Meteor, and their teacher Mr. Chuta Ohsugi.The Kamen Rider Club and Kamen Rider Fourze learn of the Horoscopes, an evolved group of Zodiarts.As the battle escalates, the Horoscopes sets their motions to their final phase of their master plan before Kengo discovers his true existence.

Theme Song
Switch On! is the opening theme from Kamen Rider Fourze. It was performed by Anna Tsuchiya.Tsuchiya decided to collaborate with the Kamen Rider Series after her son became a fan of the previous series Kamen Rider OOO, and she had watched the series as a child herself. She was also glad that she was going to perform the song for the franchise's 40th anniversary.The song was written by Shoko Fujibayashi and Tatsuo of the band Everset.

Friendship Man
Gentaro Kisaragki is a Amanogawa High School student and a member of the Kamen Rider Club who transforms into Kamen Rider Fourze to fight the Zodiarts. Five years after the end of the series, he becomes a teacher at AGHS. Gentaro tends to be ever straight forward with how he wants to be friends with every single person that he meets, that even means the monsters that attacks his school every week because why not.

I'm only going to briefly cover it's summer because it was so fun, you have to see it yourself ,but the reviews say otherwise.
Kamen Rider Fourze the Movie: Space, Here We Come!
A transaction meeting Villain was to have with Foundation X goes awry when a mysterious woman named Inga Blink steals replica Horoscopes Switches for space warfare. Telling Hayami and Tatsugami not to pursue, Gamou tells them they will have the Kamen Rider Club deal with her. At Amanogawa High School, Mr. Ohsugi takes Gentaro, Yuki, Kengo, and Ryusei out of computer class and takes them to the Rabbit Hatch to meet up with the rest of Kamen Rider Club. There, they meet a strange lady named Shizuka Shirayama who is a member of OSTO Legacy and requests the Club's assistance. Agreeing to help,the Club will do train for the mission of their life, and that's all I'll say.

Toku Earthquake
The friendship motif seen throughout the series is a direct response to the 2011 Toku Earthquake.Series producer Tsukada Hideaki says the earthquake hit during fourzes planning stages, and upon realization and how he'll be the newest hero following the event they said, "We want to make sure we cheer those kids up, give them something to smile about. Let's make Fourze that kind of show." Genteros actor Sota Fukushi was the one most open about the shows intent as he stated,"I wanna be a hero who will make people smile again."

Villians
The villains of this show are the Zodiarts, monsters that take the form of iconic star constellations,but they can also turn into the Horoscopes. Normally the horoscopes are the students of the school.The Horoscopes,alternatively called the Twelve Constellations of the Zodiarts, are a completely evolved of their human selves, keeping their human bodies. When all twelve of the Zodiarts are together, that's where things started to get serious.

Best Character
I only mentioned this person very, very,very briefly, but I like him so much I'll mention him even more.That's their teacher Mr.Chuta Ohsugi. Ohsugi is a middle-aged man with bad looks and a bad personality which makes him unpopular with the students. This does not bother him however, as he believes students and teachers should not be friends. Ohsugi has a habit of punctuating his sentences with a snap of his suspenders.He often gets into arguments with Gentaro Kisaragi and his friends over various things such as Gentaro not wearing the school's standard uniform. After finding out about the Kamen Rider Club and that they were the ones behind all the rescues from the Zodiarts, however, Ohsugi gives them his blessing and becomes their adviser. This action even shows another side to him, stating that he wants to become the adviser since, as a teacher, it was his duty to protect and help his students. Aka making him best character.

Astroswitch
The Astroswitches are mysterious devices that are the source of Kamen Rider Fourze's powers. They are infused with Cosmic Energy to materialize armaments known as the Fourze Module. Ten of them at a time can be carried in the Astroswitch Case. They can also be used to serve as power-ups for Kamen Rider Meteor. It is also notable that the members of evil organization Foundation X somehow managed to turn Kamen Riders themselves into Astroswitches,but that only happens in a movie so it doesn't count.

Meteor
Ryusei Sakuta is Kamen Rider Meteor, one of the main protagonists in the series. Ryusei is a transfer student coming to Amanogawa High from Subaruboshi High School, who put a facade of being a friendly person; when he really kept everything to himself. He started fighting against the Zodiarts after witnessing his old friend, Jiro foolishly using a Zodiarts Switch while causing it to self destruct and hospitalize him, putting him in a coma. Unable to forgive himself for failing to prevent Jiro's injury, Ryusei was given a package by someone named Tachibana to become Meteor in order to track down the Aries Zodiarts. Things have started rocky between Meteor and Fourze due to their different objectives. When he first transferred from Subaruboshi to AGHS, Ryusei sought to join the Kamen Rider Club.To ensure his mission goes without fail, Ryusei puts up a bright, cheerful, and albeit timid facade so no one would be the wiser. Eventually, during the Kamen Rider Club's battle with the Lynx Zodiarts, Ryusei appears as Kamen Rider Meteor and reveals his agenda to them as he holds Kamen Rider Fourze at bay to ensure the Lynx Zodiarts's escape in hopes that he might evolve into the Aries Zodiarts. After he defeats the Scorpion Zodiarts, Ryusei successfully joins the Kamen Rider Club in order to observe them better and putting up a further facade of being a technical genius and a friend.I would consider him to be second best.

Problems
I have been purposely trying to avoid this next part because i've even trying to make this positive. I mean this is a great show,but everything has a problem at the show has quite a lot of them. For one of them it's the town just it does not stop the whole friendship friendship friendship. Not to mention the episode structure is not good either, all the episodes are two parts so you can just skip one and just watch the minute recap at the start of the next episode.And then the Horoscopes, which weren't that good, they just wanted to do a thing and to do that they have to hurt people, certain people too so that goes nowhere. It all seems very pointless and I wish instead of that they spend more time giving the characters actual development, because some of them were too much COUGH YUKI COUGH, but they tried, they failed, but they tried, but I still hate it so much. Also CGI, no.
Overall 8/10
I admit that this was my first Kamen Rider I've seen start to finish. Since I like school themed shows, I wanted to check it out. And, it felt like those dramas-anime that I've seen before. There is the main story, with the bad guys all mysterious and dark, and there's also the small adventures that the hero has to overtake in every episode. The CGI were bad, though this one is an old drama, so it is expected. Some of the costumes were bad as well. However, the performances were really good. And some of the cases were nice and entertaining to watch, though others were just boring. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone who may be new to Kamen Rider.
